theres nothing on tv
theres something in your head
its driving you insane
you havent gone to bed

you keep it bottled up
you wont tell a sole
but you better break soon
because youve lost control

i know it would be wiser
if you had seen it coming
we cant all have the same life
we cant all have that fire

they all tried to warn you
to tell you of the danger
you shook your head at them
but you started to prespire

even if you let go
you know it will not matter
be honest with yourself
stop being such a liar

we have all these ideas
of how good our lives can be
if only you had one chance
to be what you admire
